There is a powerful tool available from the
League of Women Voters. It can give us more voters, better-informed voters, and shorter lines on Election Day(s)!
vote411.org links you to on-line voter registration and other voter registration information, and information about candidates and ballot measures.
This last feature is the coolest. You can prepare a sample ballot tailored your own specific address (or the address of your RWNJ brother-in-law), read the positions of supporters and candidates. You can even type in your own notes on each!
Lines will be long for this election (well, not in Oregon, where we vote by mail), and voters can use VOTE411.ORG to prepare themselves to vote quickly and move the line along, so more people can vote.
Please visit. Like 'em, Tweet 'em, share 'em, and support them. The League of Women Voters is non-partisan, but, in promoting good citizenship, voter education, and good governance, they are our natural allies.
(I've not seen this as a diary topic before; it has appeared in comments. Sorry if this is a duplication.)
