It's Friday, Friday... you know the rest. Greg Dworkin parsed the polling and punditry. Todd Akin took a beating. Republicans were (once again) caught perpetrating the only thing approaching voter fraud that ever actually happens. The shift that wasn't, on Republican tax strategy. And Mitt Romney raises the bar on jerkiness, blaming veterans' suicides on the defense budget (but not Ryan's vote to slash it).

Here's a FREE AND EASY way to help support Daily Kos Radio: download the Stitcher app, then enter the promo code DAILYKOS when you're asked "Tell us how you heard about Stitcher!" on the registration page. New Stitcher users who sign up with the code and then listen to any portion of any show are entered in a drawing for a $100 cash card, but better yet (from our perspective), Stitcher puts a dollar in the kitty for us. w00t! And don't forget to "favorite" the Kagro in the Morning show once you're all signed up!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

  •  I'm app challenged (0+ / 0-)

as I don't have a smartphone or apple something.  I went to the website since earlier I thought there was indication that the app could be downloaded to a desktop -- nope.  Then I read on Stitcher that it could be downloaded to my Kindle Fire -- nope -- unless they have a magic hidden way to do it.  Their website gives two options:  Apple stuff or Android.

So, while I listen through netrootsradio -- I won't be listening through Stitcher, alas.

    •  Aw, man! (0+ / 0-)

I was excited about the Kindle Fire thing, too.

I know you can listen to Stitcher podcasts on the computer, though. You don't get all the app functionality (and can't register to win the cash card, etc., I guess). But I know you can at least listen that way.

I think you can just go here, for instance, and hear the latest show:

Let me know if that works for you. Maybe you have to have an account or something. But I think that will work.
