Right now the prospects for the re-election of President Barack Obama is looking very strong. It's not a given, but it looks pretty good so far. As a result we've seen the Republi-Cult-ians go ballistic, attacking and blaming their own nominee, attacking and blaming those pesky "skewed" polls - even the polls by Fox News - so it was only a matter of time before they began attacking their fellow Americans, and themselves.
That time is now.
A Virginia man allegedly killed himself and his family earlier this week in part because he was upset by the thought of President Barack Obama being re-elected.
“He felt that our God-given rights were being taken away,” a family friend identified as “Maggie L.” told The Daily Mail. “He didn’t like where the country was going.”

We all know there's a whole lotta Free Range Crazy in the GOP these days.
We've already seen plenty of bile like this.
Rarely do we consider the potential danger that level of paranoia and delusion can cause. But it already has.
We've already had James Van Brunn kill a guard at the Holocaust Museum on his way to kill David Axelrod. Fortunately he didn't make it.
There was David Poplowski who killed three Pittburgh police officers alledgely because Obama was going to Take Away his Guns.
There was James Adkisson who killed two and wounded five in his plot to Kill the Liberals in his attack on the Unitarian Church in Knoxville.
And there was Byron Williams who had planned a Dark Knight Rises styled attack on the ACLU and Tides Foundation because Glenn Beck told him they were "Bad".
All of this was over the last few years, long before we reached the point we are now where President Obama looks likely to retain his office.
Now we have this guy.
The friend said Albert Peterson, a defense contractor, had a history of paranoia and was also affected by a favorite uncle’s recent suicide. On Wednesday, The Washington Post reported that Peterson, his wife Kathleen and their two sons, Matthew and Christopher, were found dead in their home.
According to The Mail, authorities believe Peterson shot his wife and the children before turning the gun on himself. Maggie told the newspaper that his family had a history of mental illness; his father killed himself when Peterson was young, and the death of his mother five years ago, she said, nearly drove him to suicide before Kathleen saved him.
But more recently, Maggie said, Peterson was behaving erratically, sending paranoid political emails daily to family and friends.

Now clearly as the story shows, this is a person who already had a history of mental illness and of suicidal thoughts and behaviors. That is the number one cause of this tragedy right there. But here's the thing -
He Killed His Wife and Sons Too - at least partially because he was afraid of the financial debt that would they would be burdened with and the "freedoms they would lose" in
Obama's America.
Are you kidding me?
What "Freedoms" has Obama threatened? The Freedom not to get kicked off your insurance plan? The Freedom to get contraception despite the religion of your employer? The Freedom to drive a Chevy Cruise? The Freedom to carry a gun in a public park? The Freedom not to be Lied To by your Credit Card company? The Freedom not to let companies get away with secretly paying you less if you're a woman?
We hear the paranoid spin coming from the Ring-Wingbats day in and day out. Many of the most vile of them, that Obama is "Un-American" and "Foreign" are literally dripping from the lips of the GOP nominee for President. Lies and Distortions have become their campaign platform.
The dire caricature of reality they have painted in order to regain the power of the White House isn't just "politics". It has an impact on people lives and perceptions, and that impact can be most profound and damaging on people who are already mentally on the verge as this poor man apparently was.
For those already on the edge, it can Kill People.
And I expect this BodyCount only to grow.
