Jen Bendery announces Joe Biden Livestream: VP To Talk To Supporters After Presidential Debate. What? A nationwide Democratic Party party, that I don't know about? Why wasn't I informed of this? Where are the ones in central PA? I better check my email, as this sounds like fun.
WASHINGTON -- The Obama campaign is planning more than 3,200 watch parties for Wednesday's debate between President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney. Anyone planning to attend will be in for a treat right afterward: an exclusive livestream discussion with Vice President Joe Biden.
"I love getting together with my friends and fellow supporters to get energized for the last big push before November 6th. Something tells me you might be a debate fan, too," reads a sample email being sent to Waukee, Iowa, supporters. "If you are, you should know that one of your neighbors in Waukee is holding a watch party for the first debate on Wednesday, October 3rd. You should drop by and watch."
The email gives specifics on when and where to meet with fellow Obama supporters to watch the 90-minute debate. It also says if they stick around for the whole thing, they'll have a chance to talk to Biden afterward. ...
Invitations will be sent out Friday evening by email announcing the locations of the 3,200 Democratic Watch Parties already scheduled. They didn't report if folks should bring beer, and chips.
After hearing, and writing the stories about "unleashing The Ryan," what great news to hear we are finally "unleashing The Biden." Our Vice President receives a fair amount of ribbing, at times, for being too hones, but I've always felt he is a great, and passionate speaker who is intelligent, and very well informed. And, right after a whole debate having to listen to Mitt Romney half the time, a bit of fun, and refreshing honesty from Joe Biden might be just what we need.
I wonder if the Networks might be able to catch some of this live stream for those having to watch the debates in the sad seclusion of their own homes, or prison, or wherever people not at these parties might be?
