We all know that it has been discovered the Strategic Allied Counseling has been fraudulently registering voters. This includes registering dead voters, refusing to register non-Republican voters and changing party affiliation on registration forms.
There is another aspect of this that is not getting as much attention. On Tom Hartmann's show a few days ago Brad Friedman of BradBlog.com discussed another tactic that could be much more damaging if we aren't vigilant.
They aren't just registering dead voters and changing party registrations. They are also re-registering Democratic voters under new addresses. If this has happened to someone, when they go to vote they will not show up in their precinct's voter rolls and will be forced to vote on a provisional ballot, which may or may not be counted.
To combat this, we need to stay on top of our voter registrations. You can check you registration status at CanIVote.org. Check to see if you are registered and also double check and triple check that your address is correct. Don't just do this today, do it next week, and the week after. Do it every week until election day.
