Wow!

I cannot believe the response I received from the first post. Sorry to post and run. I will try my hardest to respond to as many comments as possible. The campaign is gaining a lot of momentum and there is a lot of demand on my time in these last few weeks before the election, but I plan to set aside some time each week to read through and respond to your comments on the diaries.

I wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow (10/10) I will be doing a live Google+ Hangout with Joan McCarter at 6:30pm PT.

If you have any questions that you would like me to answer, please post them in the comments section or contact Joan.

Again, thank you so much for following this campaign, and I appreciate every one of your comments.

See you tomorrow.

Alan

P.S. When it's not me, the staff will sign their name. Go easy on them.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.
Rescue this diary, and add a note:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from Rescue?
Choose where to republish this diary. The diary will be added to the queue for that group. Publish it from the queue to make it appear.

You must be a member of a group to use this feature.

Add a quick update to your diary without changing the diary itself:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary?
(The diary will be removed from the site and returned to your drafts for further editing.)
(The diary will be removed.)
Are you sure you want to save these changes to the published diary?

      •  ok, I'll start (0+ / 0-)

If you were to answer, "I'm not Paul Ryan" five times that would be an acceptable answer.

Specifics:  What committees would you want to sit on and what committees do you feel your skills qualify you to sit on?

Where are you on the EPA...fund and expand or deregulate polluters for the sake of scratching the polluters back who will then scratch the backs of the workers they will graciously pay a minimum wage to while forcibly trying to prevent formation of unions.

Green energy all the way or the Obama/Romney all of the above approach that continues America's spearheading of global meltdown?

        For starters.  Thanks.

        •  tap-tap-tap...is this mike on? (0+ / 0-)

If I have to go to your website to read your canned platform then your presence here is really of no consequence.

If you say that you or your staff are going to answer questions...it would be helpful if you or your staff answered questions.

          Thanks.

  •  Bill O, I think "see you tomorrow" (1+ / 0-)

means that he's not hanging around tonight, and that folks should post questions for him to address in tomorrow's Hangout with Joan.

    •  ah, I had thought the (0+ / 0-)

"sorry for the post and run...but will answer as many comments as possible" was code for "I'm gonna answer some questions before I have to run".  My bad.
