I can hardly get up. Ugh, I hate being this sick. Wish I could see a doctor, but the nearest emergency room is maybe 50-60 miles away. All the ones that were closer had to shut down. Anyway, they don't really do much for chronic conditions. Oh well, I'm just going to try my best.
More below the fold:
I don't want to ask my daughter Anne for help. Tomorrow is Erin's anniversary. Died in Iran. Romney couldn't help but get us involved in another damned war. I have a cousin on the coast and they are terrified of an attack. Anyway, Anne actually has a job, unlike most of the household. Don't know how long it will last, but we are so glad she has work. What with the unemployment rate closing in on 20%...and so many jobs that have gone overseas. And she looks especially worried. Think she is scared her niece Tiffany might be pregnant. Those pills are so expensive. Rumor has it one of the neighbors a couple of blocks over had a botched abortion and died of an infection. Don't know how Anne can stand the pressure of all of this.
Wait, is that my neighbor Ed? I hope not. He's been having these screaming meltdowns lately. Job sent to a factory in, I think, China. One owned by Bain, of course. And he is losing his home. Like a lot of folks. No more home mortgage deduction on top of everything else and maybe that sent him over the edge.
Heard Romney will be addressing the country. Again. Guess I can miss that. Nobody believes anything he says anymore anyway. And we can't afford to use the electricity.
Ah, doing a bit better. Moving around some. Want to be able to take my grandson Michael's place in the food bank line. Nowadays people camp out overnight. Bunch of charities shut down after they eliminated the charitable deduction. No more Salvation Army, Goodwill, and the few that are left are just overrun. Should be okay. Staying out all night I mean. The bands of food thieves don't usually bother the people in line. Kind of make sense. After all, we don't have anything to give them.
Okay, think I can get into the used wheelchair we found! Wish me luck. Hope I get something good.
