EVERYONE out there, you know that it's real.

EVERYONE out there, you know that it's real.
Stay there on your arse, the election they'll steal.

It's time to get active, and stay in the game.
Should Romney win this one s#!t won't be the same.

With your money, your mouth, AND your feet on the trail,
We'll do this together, we surely won't fail.

If you're sitting there wondering what to do for the cause,
Visit an office, knock on doors, or make calls.

If you live near a state like Florida or Ohio,
Or Virginia, Iowa, or Nevada and Colorado,

Get in your old car or hop on the Metro.
Your neighbors they need you to get in the show.

If not, hop a plane while the airfare is cheap.
Stay home and we're looking at Paul Ryan as Veep.

Have no time? Help a friend who's raring to fight.
Ask around, we're out here... just ask us tonight!

Obama can't win this alone, not this time.
But we left him hanging back in 2009.

Remember the 'Change?' It was us all along.
Real progress takes time and sustained work from the throng.

I'm raring to go, but I'm not enough.
Stop sitting and griping, now Wake the F^@k Up!

--Walt Ellis (seconding Samuel L Jackson)

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

Right now, I still like Obama in spite of what could be called an epic fail at the debate. You can fail and still have within you the character and inspiration to recover fully. I had to believe that about MYSELF to get anywhere, for Chrissakes, because for decades I considered myself to be a colossal
