This will be a very short diary as I have to get some sleep. Hopefully someone else will pick up on this and expand.
Dana Milbank of the Washington Post wrote this evening that during the Republican-initiated hearing of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee which was convened to look into the tragic events in Benghazi that resulted in the death of Ambassador Stevens and another member of the personnel staffed at the Embassy (and do some grandstanding), Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) and Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) basically confirmed classified information on live TV broadcast by CSPAN.
Here's the link to his piece.
(Small update)
Here's a slightly different take from The Hill.
It should be noted that Chaffetz is the same tool....errr...person who voted to reduce funding for Embassy security. So now he's up there screaming that the Obama Administration didn't do enough to protect our personnel? It really is stupifying...
I just realized that therehastobeaway already has a diary about this O'Brien stomping of Chaffetz.
Rachael Maddow weighs in on the budgetary hypocrisy.
(Update #2)
I've never been on the rec list before. Kinda scary. Thank you....I think ;)
(Update #3)
Meteor Blades recently posted a much more detailed job on this story so I'll let this one go.
