6:22 PM PT: "Thank heavens we have these sanctions in place," says Ryan. Yeah, the sanctions that the Obama administration has put in place. I think it's fair to say that Ryan is giving neocons a raging hard-on tonight. But I'm sure Biden is winning the country.

6:23 PM PT: Biden wraps up the foreign policy segment: "Big nations cannot bluff. The president does not bluff."

6:25 PM PT:
I LOVE JOE BIDEN... Paul Ryan is a joke

6:25 PM PT: Boom: 47% makes it first appearance of the night. (From VPOTUS.)

6:26 PM PT:
Ryan gulping water while Biden speaks.  Probably dehydrated from the 2:50 marathon he ran before the debate.

6:26 PM PT: Oh man. Ryan just stepped in it big time. Told a flat out lie about unemployment going up throughout country, and Biden called him out on it. Awesome.

6:28 PM PT: Ryan: "They keep on talking about Detroit. Mitt Romney is a car guy." And now he tells a story about how Mitt Romney helped out some people who got in a car crash. What the hell! Is Mitt Romney running to give his wealth to every American?

6:30 PM PT (Kaili Joy Gray): New thread here.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
