The very same Duggar Family Freak Show that endorsed Rick Santorum in January is out pimping Missouri's own Todd Akin for Senator. I find it inconsistent that the Duggars would endorse Akin who said women who have been legitimately raped can shut that whole thing down, while earlier they endorsed Santorum who loves "rape babies."
Carolyn Castiglia in the 1/24/2012 issue of strollerderby:
In case you haven’t heard the news, Republican presidential candidate, Rick Santorum, told Piers Morgan on Friday that women should accept rape babies as a gift from God, “even if given in a ‘broken’ way,” as the Huffington Post put it. Santorum believes rape victims should “make the best out of a bad situation” and that a woman who might choose to abort a fetus created as a result of rape would always know that terminated pregnancy was meant to be “her child.”
Questions for The Doctors
Dr. Akin: If a woman who is legitimately raped and who has not been able to shut the whole thing down -- can she become pregnant as Dr. Santorum has said?
Dr. Santorum: If rape babies are gifts from God, is it a SIN for a woman who has been legitimately raped to shut that whole thing down?
As for Dr. Duggar and Dr. Duggar, if you ever learn where babies come from would you be so kind as to email Dr. Akin and Dr. Santorum?
