AND Joe Scarborough, you lost.
The flailing, the inconsistencies, and the flat out mistakes you made, as well as your entitled, whiny, CEO attitude, has (or will) stop your campaign's engine like sugar in the gas tank.
George Will called this the best debate he had ever seen, and he personally witnessed each and every one of them since Lincoln-Douglas when he was a cub reporter.
I agree (except for the lincoln-douglas bit). And best of all, the True Romney came out. Disdainful of Obama, smarmy and condescending to the little ladies in the audience, (I am surprised that he didn't compliment them on their hair - just the right length and shade), and incoherent all too often.
Obama quickly got into the skull of Romney last night, and the result was not pretty. While some pundi-trees concentrate on the leaves of Libya, I think that binders of women, taxes, and other issues will easily fall apart just as badly in a post debate autopsy.
In fact, Romney ddid so badly, that I would not be surprised if the Team Romney starts making demands for #3 changes, changes so aggressive and unexpected, that this last debate may not even take place. Road blocks, demands, and non-sensical statements will shortly follow.
If I were in Vegas, I might even be putting out odds on whether Debate #3 will even take place.
