New Hampshire was rocked by a 4.6 earth-shake. Biggest movement I ever experienced!

And President Obama Won the Debate!

Mitt did what he always does-Lied.

The wives wore Pink! (my favorite color:))

On a side note-did anyone see or capture the side glance/glare at President Obama by Ann as she walked on stage to join Mitt?

I would love to caption her look.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

From the shaky state of California, welcome to our world!

On the debate: Obama won! Of course, if you ask me, he won the other one too.

But nobody, not even Maddow, Schultz or Tweety, mentioned how Romney threw Bush 43 under the bus when asked how he distinguishes himself from him.

  •  I've wanted to admit this for a long time.. (14+ / 0-)

so I'll do it now hiding behind the anonimity of the internet

    Whenver I say/read/hear "Barack Obama"

I am reminded of what a blessing he is to this country. I'm not an Obamabot...I see his flaws as a leader and flaws in his policy.

I also see a good person who wants the job because he cares about this country and it's people. NO ONE becomes a community organizer for personal glory. I'm sure he has plenty of ego and obvious confidence, but the fact remains that he could have an AWESOME LIFE without running for this second term. He is rich, famous, talented, and has a great family. There are NUMEROUS ways he can use his talents to benefit the world. HE DOES NOT HAVE TO DO THIS

I am reminded that he risks his life daily for this job. He's received several FOLD (ie 100%) more death threats than any other President. I can see that he is aging (not just his hair, his skin too) rapidly from the stress of it all. I'm about his age (bit younger) and I haven't age that much in 4 yrs. He used to look like a  Young Man now you look at him you do not see that.

Anyway...I think he is choosing to run because he wants to finish what he started and it's about helping the country in face of what she is up against with the horrendous current Republican agenda.

Long story short...I'm Jewish. Baruch etc means Blessing or Blessed. Barack is from the Arab word meaning the same, so close as it is to the Hebrew.

I hear Barack and I hear Blessing and every time I do hear it, corny as it sounds, I am reminded of this good and well meaning person who is standing firm to try to stem the tide of hurt that would come from the Republicans (as they are right now) if they were to come into power.

So, I admit it. I think Barack is a blessing to us all and I like to see him fight for us, and himself, like he did tonight. And yes, when people insult  his person (not his policies) such as when the Romney campaign recently called him "LAZY" and "NOT SO BRIGHT" (which of course they got away with, barely a blip...I cannot imagine the same happening if the roles were reversed)...I see red and want to punch someone, preferably that person.

Hearing him called lazy and basically, stupid by the other campaign made me almost cry to be honest.
    I admitted it.

from Ann Romney, but did notice her face just before she kissed her husband, it was quite the picture, acid venom seemed to be leaking from every pore.  I do think that she is probably the driver in their relationship, and her comments before the 1st debate really reinforced this impression for me, when she said that he looks for where she is seated before the debate starts and then checks with her after each time he speaks for her approval.

I paused the tv and hit my husband and and watched it again.  Ann does not do this political wife thing well.  She does, however, seem to do the entitled CEO wife thing well.
