is like having a conversation about cigarette smoking, and not talking about cancer...I mean I am glad President Obama showed up, and finally called out that sleazeball and now hopefully he will get no where near the White House....but I am a little, no very distressed that no one at Hofstra thought enough to ask a question....I mean really, the question
I am glad that bearded guy was sitting around the lunchroom just having a casual conversation about Libya ( yea right! ) how else could we have had Romney's Gerald Ford moment but apparently no one is sitting around the lunchroom talking about how friggn hot it is! I moved to San Diego 13 years ago, becasue it was the most temperate climate in the United States, if not the world. Now, it's like I"ve moved somewhere south of the Equator. WE had a blistering hot summer, over 100 degrees for nearly a month. Now it's cooled off to 80 degrees daily...This is not friggin normal!! San Diego used to be around 70 degrees daily. If we ever had 100 degree days they would last for a couple of days, you know, a heat wave...but this......
I've heard the story about the Pentagon actually conducting a climate change study, they consider it the single most dangerous issue facing our country if not the planet!! Sorry, I don't have a link, maybe somebody could help me out...The thing is, we all know the science.. Even the corporations know the science they are not dumb guys...they just don't care...
I know I am going to pass away someday, like my parents did, and their parents before them etc. I've got no problem with that. I had a chance to live and made the most of it! Hopefully I will have many years to come to see my children get settled in. What I do have a problem with, is seeing the planet pass away..and I have a bigger problem with us not even discussing it!!
