Admittedly, I'm not much of a diarist (over 2000 days since my last one!) nor much of a commenter. But this happened, and I thought it was just too good to not share (and I didn't see it on the list, and couldn't find a diary via searching, so apologies if I'm duplicating info)...
On tonight's Hardball, James Lipton (of Inside the Actors' Studio and Arrested Development) beautifully summed up the role Romney is playing on the world stage (and I'm paraphrasing a bit here): he's the boss who tells jokes and waits for you to laugh...or else.
And later, he said something so devastating in its simplicity that it roused me from my 2000-day slumber to share it. That after last night's debate, voters are now faced with a very clear choice: does America need a President...or a boss?
Jeepers Creepers.
Anyway, being the inexperienced schlemiel I am, diary-wise, I haven't the first clue how to post a video (and don't have a transcript handy), but check it out over at the Hardball website, or catch it in re-run later tonight. Just wanted to draw attention to it.
Edit: Thanks to user Anthony Page aka SecondComing, here's a link to the video:
James Lipton on Boss Romney
Edit (7:50 PM): Rec list??? REC LIST??? I don't know what to say. I just thought this was kinda swell and wanted to share. Wow. Thank you all for this. Made my day, you did.
Edit (8:52): TOP of the Rec List??? People, all I can say is...
There's something seriously wrong with your algorithm.
But hey, I'll take it. :) Thanks to you all once again!
