I'm finding it seriously disappointing that year after year the national and state Democratic Party organizations fail to give out any information on retaining judges. These judges make decisions that affect very important issues we all care about and yet here in AZ (it was the same in CO,NM, and UT where I also lived) I find NOTHING on the Party site regarding judges except a notation that the party makes no recommendation to remove any judges, at all. Surely there is one judge IN ARIZONA that the Democratic Party feels should not be retained. It is a systemic failure in national and state Party structure that ignores this very important area in elections.
More below...
The National and State Party organizations exist primarily as support for individual candidates. However, we also have a Party platform that commits us to standing up for specific issues and opposing others yet there is seldom any info out there at election time about the people that are involved in the success or failure of many issues...Judges. Such a sad lack of detail that impairs us now and could make a big difference in the future. I was shocked at how little was available to me in AZ and I can't help but suspect the case is the same in many, if not all, other states.
My suggestion would be for those of us in states where the Party fails us, we should research and post whatever minimal info we find so that others in our states won't have to look it up. To that end, I'm posting a link to a list I found in my state that shows Governors since 1991 and the Judicial appointments they have made. The list includes if the Judge is Dem, GOP, or Independent(surprisingly few). It only includes Maricopa County which is my county and Pinal county. Hope it helps somebody else and just maybe keeps somebody from randomly voting to retain all or remove all.

I've also saved the list to my computer just in case the link doesn't work.
