Rob Zerban, Paul Ryans opponent in the WI-01 Congressional district, is out with a new ad today thanks to Kossacks and other small donors.
While Paul Ryan isn't campaigning in his district and still refusing to debate his Congressional opponent, Rob Zerban and many volunteers are out working hard to win the district.
Paul Ryan thinks his $4 million campaign money can buy his re-election though an endless stream of campaign ads. We can prove him wrong.
I know many of you like transcripts, so I've transcribed it for you:
I'm Rob Zerban and I appove this message.
(video and comments from real people)

It's a nice 30 second spot and great counter to the big pile of horse pucky that Paul Ryan has been frequently airing to try to hang onto his seat.
Paul Ryan has never been defeated in his district. Why? Because he hasn't been exposed as an ultraconservative extremist by the local media and presents himself as a handsome, nice, moderate young man. He hasn't faced a serious opponent, either. Ryans exposure in the national media changed that. Now he's the guy that wants to give Grandma a coupon in place of her Medicare and hand her and her Social Security check over to the not so tender mercies of the private health insurance marketplace so they can profit off of her.
Rob Zerban is Ryans first serious challenger and very qualified candidate for office. While Paul Ryan has debated in every election since he first went to Congress, he won't debate Rob Zerban. Cripes, Paul Ryan won't even hold a public town hall anymore, either, since his disasterous return to the district after introducing his middle class killing budget.
Let's keep on helping Rob Zerban defeat Paul Ryan. We can defeat Paul Ryan twice on November 6 and send him home to spend more time with his millions.

Addendum: Lots of folks are noticing my new avatar. Credit where credit is due, I stole it from this comment last night. Despite the difficulty in changing it (the old one kept popping back in), I thought it was incredibly appropriate to use until after the butt kicking Obama is going to give Mitt Romney on November 6.
I just hope it's not that difficult to re-change it back to Rocky (RIP) with his attentive stare so similar to me sitting in front of the computer reading the news.
A bit of John Doe Probe News just popped up. Apparantly, Scott Walker met with John Doe prosecutors for an all day session this spring. The Milwaukee County District Attorneys Office, conducting the probe, is disclosing some information in the wake of concerns regarding their plea deal with Kelly Reindfleisch and removing Walker from their potential witness list.
Sources have told No Quarter that the two sides got together in Milwaukee during April or early May in an all-day session that often proved contentious. Even prosecutors disagreed so vigorously with one another, two sources said, that the meeting created a rift within the Milwaukee County district attorney's office that lasted for weeks.
Walker's session with prosecutors was divided in two, according to sources, with part of it dealing with issues related to the county and the rest to campaign matters. Walker was Milwaukee County executive from 2002 to 2010.
Two sources described that spring meeting between Walker and prosecutors as something of a cat-and-mouse game, with the two sides debating the meaning of various facts and whether they constituted criminal offenses.
Insiders are reporting that the Milwaukee County portion of the 29 month old John Doe Probe is winding down.
So far, the John Doe Probe has resulted in the conviction of railroad baron William Gardner on 2 felonies for illegally funnelling campaign donations to Scott Walker through his employees, guilty pleas of 2 top aides to Scott Walker (Kelly Reindfleisch and Darlene Wink), the conviction of Walker appointee Kevin Kavanaugh on 3 fenoly counts of embezzling funds from a veterans group whose money was being held in trust by the Milwaukee County Executives Office under Scott Walker, and the indictment of former Walker top aide Tim Russell whose trial is set to start in December after numerous delays caused by changes in legal representation.
