Martha Roby represents southeast Alabama in Congress. She was elected in 2010 by defeating incumbent Blue Dog Democrat Bobby Bright for the 2nd District seat.
She is your basic hard-core Deep South Republican.
She recently sat down to do an interview with an independent journalist (with whom I am not familiar) named Jan Helfeld, who puts his interviews on his YouTube channel.
Helfeld asks her about redistribution of wealth. She's against it, of course.
Then he asks her about farm subsidies. There are a lot of farmers in southeastern Alabama. She's in favor of farm subsidies, sort of.
Then he asks her about redistributing wealth to banks and bankers. That's when she freaks and walks out.
Here's the video. And here's a post about it at Left in Alabama. Be sure to catch Roby's press secretary's remarks to Helfeld at the end of the video.
