This from a friend in Seattle, where all voting takes place by mail and apparently there are no polling places. Here's what Barack Obama is sending out (emphasis mine):
Friend --
This election will come down to one thing: how many folks get out there and vote.
It's that simple.
Today, I'm meeting up with a neighbor and heading to the polls in my hometown of Chicago.
Will you join me? No reason to wait for November 6th in Washington. Confirm your early vote polling place, vote with me today, and yes, bring a friend with you:

Voting early couldn't be easier or more important, and it'll play a crucial role in winning Washington. It also frees you up to get out the vote on November 6th, which is something I hope you'll consider.
In the meantime, once you've looked up your polling place, make sure your friends in Washington and other important early vote states cast their ballots, too:

Each vote decides so much more than who sits in the Oval Office.
It's about big change, like making health care more affordable, giving women and men the same opportunities in the workplace, and leveling the playing field rather than letting the folks at the top play by a different set of rules. Up and down the ticket, it's also about what happens right outside your front door and around the corner -- in your school district, your police department, your city council's office.
Time to get out there and win,
Barack
He pointed out the problem to OFA yesterday, and here comes another today. This could confuse some voters, and if nothing else, lead to a frustrating waste of time. Kossacks?
