Standard disclaimer: Leave your loathing of meta, World of Warcraft, or community diaries outside. If you think we should be playing your MMO instead, start a guild and write a recruitment diary. Don't leave a comment here and then get all hurtful when it isn't received with flowers and candy. This goes double for people coming in to attack guildies over other diaries or comments - STAY OUT! Link to your recruitment diary is OK though.
Standard advertisement: Wreck List is the Daily Kos World of Warcraft guild. We are Horde-side on the Garrosh server. To join, read this diary and visit the Guild web site to put in an application. Yes, you have to be Horde. No, you don't have to be hardcore - casuals, PvPers, and people that just want to hang out on guild chat are all welcome.
More below the fold:

This is going to be kind of a short post, as I'm putting my money where my mouth is and going out to stock up on emergency supplies in case Hurricane Sandy comes trick-or-treating next week.

Tell us your Hallow's End tips and tricks in the comments. Those candy buckets are good for leveling/exploring XP, and early in the expansion as it is teh Horseman actually drops usable loot.

We do have a raiding report from Ninotchka for Team Kaels:

Team Kaels continues to make steady progress through the Mogu’shan Vaults. We added two bosses to our kill total since last I wrote to you; Gara’jal the Spirit Tamer and the Spirit Kings. We managed to get through all four of our boss encounters on Tuesday this week, giving us hope of downing Elegon the spirit dragon on Friday. It’s supposedly the first big stumbling block of this expansion, though, so we’ll see how far we get. It sure drops pretty weapons, though. I got a two-handed sword from the LFR version of Elegon, which Kaels tells me looks like a giant blue banana.

Next week the normal version of Heart of Fear opens up. The loot from this raid is a half-step up from Mogu’shan, but the bosses hit harder and have more health, naturally. Still, it’s always fun to squash bugs so we’re looking forward to that one.

We do not have a GV report from Mahuae due to a dead hard drive. Let's hope she's back up soon.

That's all I have this week. For the Horde!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
