This morning, 90 minute wait to vote per Broward County gov website. By the time wife and I voted at 1pm, the wait was still almost 45 minutes. Palpable excitement, and large "Souls to the Polls" banners and presence.
Stopped at two Obama campaign offices, no yard signs or swag left. Phone lines all occupied and busy.
   Feeling good about FL!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:

calling Obama supporters who were listed as mail in voters to make sure those ballots get sent in properly and IN TIME to be counted.

Some of them recounted the long lines already at the polls....sure hope we get that state in Obama's win column!

We've been phonebanking into FL for months now...sure has been interesting! We've logged thousands of calls...just our little home-grown grassroots group.

GOTV is how Obama will win.

Lines are starting to wind down.  Polls close for the day in 90 minutes.  Here are the 5 pm wait times - still long lines at some places.

I posted the 1:00 and 3:00 wait times as comments in somebody else's diary about early voting - there were 3-4 hour waits earlier in the day for the Souls to the Polls drive.

Wait times will be announced throughout the Early Voting period from October 27 to November 3, 2012.

Updates will be every two hours.
