Want a sure sign that Mitt Romney's losing Ohio? Take a look at Romney's newest Ohio ad that claims that he, not the President, is the candidate for the auto industry. See the ad after the jump.
Transcript via TPM:
Who will do more for the auto industry? Not Barack Obama. Fact checkers confirm his attacks on Mitt Romney are false. The truth? Mitt Romney has a plan to help the auto industry. He’s supported by Lee Iacocca and the Detroit News. Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy and sold Chrysler to Italians who are going to build jeeps in China. Mitt Romney will fight for every American job.
Let's count Romney's lies:
He has a plan for the auto industry? Really?
While technically true that the Detroit News endorsed him, as they have every single Republican presidential candidate in their existence, they slammed his stance on the auto bailout.
Chrysler shipping jeep jobs to China? Lie.
Romney fight for every American job? Laughable.
The Romney campaign knows this ad is so full of stuff that they didn't even announce it to the media but ran it in Toledo.
