Just now, as I tried to log into my account, the software refused to accept my password. After several tries I changed my password through my email, which finally worked.
Has anyone else had to do this recently?
My best guess (besides a random fluke) is that it may have something to do with the network disruptions we've gotten after Hurricane Sandy — though I can't imagine what.
The only password activation email in my account was the one I just sent, so I don't think somebody changed it when I wasn't looking.
So — has anyone else had a problem like this, or is this just "something that happens"?
12:44 PM PT: It just happened again. I logged out & logged back in, & it rejected my new password, & I had to change it again. Something is definitely wrong.
1:52 PM PT: I sent a message to the Helpdesk.
While I was there, I noticed that the tech team apparently tweaked something, & that seems to have affected the login functions.
Whatever's going on, I hope this is resolved soon.
