It's the last day of President's Obama's reelection campaign, and I am getting a little sentimental.
I have watched my daughter grow up during the Obama administration.
In 2008, she was an idealistic 2 year old, confident and excited about her distant cousin's campaign.
By 2009, at 3, she realized the challenges that Obama faced, and she had real concerns about the future.
Continued below the fold!
By 2012, she felt comfortable discussing political issues and talking about the upcoming election. She had chosen stuffed animals for both Romney and Obama and provided her pick for Romney's VP choice.
Then last week, she made her first phonebanking call (she left a message).
It has been so wonderful to watch my daughter grow and development alongside the presidency of Barack Obama. President's Obama's election gave us all hope that whatever challenges we face, united and committed we can achieve great things! While the President has faced enormous challenges over the past four years, he has accomplished so much, and can point to historic achievements that many "pundits" said could never be done. We remain proud Barack Obama supporters to this day!
I can't wait for the next four years of Barack Obama as President! It should be awesome!
Make sure EVERYONE you know gets out and votes today!
