If you need any extra shot of inspiration or determination, reports are already coming in from Florida of Republican shenanigans. Long lines, monkey business with ballots, total disrespect for voters of color.

That Republican disrespect for voters of color is racism that runs deep and hard in today's Republican Party. In many ways that racism is the foundation and unifying abomination of today's Republican Party.

The Romney Team think they have an ace up their sleeve because they know they have a plan to steal Florida and Ohio and maybe other states.

Get to the polls and don't let up. We are at this finish line. Let's finish as strong as possible.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

It's hatred mixed with a heaping helping of fear.

  •  The disrespect and hatred go far beyond the (0+ / 0-)

voting machines.  It spills over to CEO's and hiring managers, who help to keep black unemployment twice that of whites at all times.  It spills over into the prison industry, which houses a disproportionate number of black men.  It spills over to education, where blacks are twice as likely as any other race to not finish high school.  It spills over into careers, where many blacks, including myself, far strip their white bosses and superiors in education and experience and yet never get ahead.  That is why the private sector job numbers can rise to the moon and black unemployment can still be high.  The government is our best bet for getting a job based on pure qualifications.

    It's not just the polls.
