Electronic voting machine lawsuit to block tabulation machines with uncertified "patches" placed on them last night may be blocked from use in today's election. The ruling should happen in about 25 minutes.

JUDGE READY TO RULE ON OHIO VOTING SOFTWARE CLAIM
ANDREW WELSH-HUGGINS AP Legal Affairs Writer Published: November 6, 2012 11:35AM
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) -- Ohio would experience election delays and confusion if a judge upholds a complaint alleging new voting software could alter ballots after they are cast, state attorneys warned Tuesday.instead of hand counting the votes, it looks like the injunction requires the flash cards to be hand delivered. Sure wish they were requiring a hand count of paper ballots, call me old fashioned, I just love it when people's actual votes are counted.
The state is asking a federal judge to reject claims raised in a lawsuit a day earlier that the software installed by the state could allow vote manipulation by non-election board officials.
The lawsuit against Ohio's elections chief and Omaha, Neb.-based Election Systems and Software asks the judge to order Ohio not to use ES&S hardware or software Tuesday and to break state contracts with ES&S for equipment to be used this year.
