No, we aren't on the map for being a presidential swing state, but I happen to live in Ben Chandler's district. Reports are coming in across our county of heavy turnout. The poll workers said turnout was huge and my precinct is typically not high in turnout. They also said of note were the many young people they don't normally see.
First time I think I've had to wait more than a minute. It was about a 15 minute wait. Reports I'm seeing from friends on Facebook that live in other 6th district counties point to higher turnout too.
Not sure how this plays for the only real contest on the ballot -- Chandler vs Barr. Most people expect this to be close since last time it was less than 1000 votes that decided it for Chandler. On the plus side is that there is no Tea Party wave. On the negative side -- Obama isn't popular here.
