3:49 PM PT: At Daily Kos radio, we'll hear from Greg Dworkin for an overview on what to expect and look for Election Night, Denise Oliver Velez, Dopper, Adam Bonin on what's happening in Pennsylvania, and much much much more. Cool stuff. Details on how and where to tune in here.

3:53 PM PT: Dems are going to pick up the Senate seat in Indiana.

Differential with Romney brutal for Mourdock: In precincts Romney is carrying by 22% (18,000 votes), Mourdock only ahead by 3% (3,000 votes)

Mourdock up only three without any of the heavily (and vote heavy) Democratic Lake Michigan counties.

3:55 PM PT:
CNN: if O wins, the Empire State Building turns blue; if R wins, it turns red. A real breakthru for those who get their news from buildings.

4:01 PM PT: Vermont called for Obama, Kentucky gets called for Romney. Shit, Romney is winning!

The non-editorial crew at Daily Kos HQ breaks out the beer.

4:01 PM PT: Virginia is too close to call. Romney wins Indiana. Georgia is too early to call, which is not the same as too close to call.

CNN exit polls in Virginia show a 49-49 race.

4:03 PM PT:
McCain won Shelby County by 19% in 2008. With a third reporting, Romney is up 27%... and Mourdock is only leading by 6%. wow. OUCH.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
