5:26 PM PT (Laura Clawson): We're broadcasting on Daily Kos Radio. Armando, Kagro, Greg Dworkin, and a bunch of other cool people are hanging out over there.

5:28 PM PT: GOP wins governor's race in North Carolina, the first and only piece of good news for Republicans thus far.

5:29 PM PT: Woo hoo! Chris Murphy wins the Senate race in Connecticut. How many millions did Linda McMahon piss away in the last two years? How many millions more will she waste before she gets the hint -- Connecticut is just not that into her.

5:30 PM PT: Romney wins Arkansas, Tennessee.

5:30 PM PT: Fox News makes sure to say how Romney won "Bill Clinton's former home state", as if that means anything.

5:33 PM PT:
FL exit poll: Obama winning Jewish vote by 40 points. 40 points. Nice work, Sheldon Adelson.

It's adorable how Republicans convince themselves every year that THIS is the year they win that demographic. 5:34 PM PT:
Via @DaviSusan, Linda McMahon spent $77 million of her own money to lose two consecutive Senate races.

Stimulating the local economy. Or at least Republican consultant grifters.

5:35 PM PT: Republicans take control of both North Carolina chambers and the governorship for the first time since the 1800s.

5:36 PM PT: Mike Huckabee on Fox talking about how Chick-fil-A was a "dress rehearsal" for ... losing seats in the Senate and the White House?

5:38 PM PT (Barbara Morrill): New thread here.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
