Man, I just can't help but gush about this site. For eight years now, of which I've seriously looked at it, it has been an absolute oasis of sanity.
It is very easy for pearl clutching people like me to get a little spooked when you read the other side's propaganda.

I mean, when you have national reporters who are supposed to be smart buying into the propaganda, it can be easy to get nervous.

But Markos clearly cemented himself for good that he is the smartest man in the room, that he always knew what the real score was. It was hard to always want to believe him, but damned if he wasn't bang on.

This is the greatest community of people when it comes to politics and our general beliefs ever.

This election really really brought out the shakes in me, especially after that first debate. But Obama did what he had to do - he kicked Mitt in the ass in the last two and run the better campaign.

The final week was so much poetic justice. Chris Christie, the GOP keynote speak at the convention, wouldn't be seen with Mitt, but he would with Obama. That said it all.

I'm just over the moon. Thank you all for being a great lifeline to me.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
