Dr. Ami Bera holds a very slim 184 vote lead in CA-07 over jackhole Dan Lungren with thousands of absentee and provisional ballots stil to be counted.

Dr. Bera's Facebook plea:

Although we maintain a 184 vote lead over Congressman Lungren, there are still thousands of absentee and provisional ballots to be counted. The top priority right now is to make sure that they are fairly counted, so we’ve opened an "Every Vote Counts Fund." Like every campaign, we spent our funds down to 0 for election day so we need to replenish URGENTLY. Thank you for all that you do.
Here is the Act Blue link...

Please, we need to win this seat.  Congress Lungren recieves a 72 on the Conservative scale.

Disregard for constitutional protections of American civil liberty

Secrecy and exclusion of citizens from government

Support for discriminatory policy

The symbolic denigration and practical undermining of science and education in America

Active harm to the environment or passive allowance for environmental destruction

Pursuit of further advantage for those in America who are already its richest

Dismissal of peaceful possibilities and obeiscance to the military-industrial complex

I cannot take Lungren as my Rep anymore!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
