I got a call from a buddy on the mainland today asking for my email address which had gotten dumped from his computer.  He had something he said I needed to see, for the entertainment value and for a pretty clear look at the underbelly of what passes for culture in a large part of America.  I, like my friend, won't comment on the contents; it really does speak for itself:

From my friend:

I have an old  friend who is very far right and he sent me this today. I won't comment on the contents of the letter as I think it is self explanatory but this is the kind of nut job we would have been up against if Obama hadn't won. "Bill" (not his real name)

Subject: Atlas Has Shrugged of (sic) the United States of America,

We are now officially a Third World Country thanks to our Obama voters.  Sad indeed.

The American Dream ended on November 6 in Ohio.  The second term of Barack Obama will be the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of
the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest Republic in the history of mankind.

A coalition of Blacks, Latinos, Feminists, Gays, Government Workers, Union Members, Environmental Extremists, The Media, Hollywood,
uninformed young people, the "forever needy," the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other "fellow travelers" has ended Norman Rockwell's America.

The Cocker Spaniel is off the front porch; the Pit Bull is in the back yard!  The American Constitution has been replaced with Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals,"
and Chicago shyster, David Axelrod, along with international Socialist George Soros will be pulling the strings on their black puppet to bring us into the New World Order!

Our side ran two candidates who couldn't even win their own Home States, and Chris Christie helped Obama over the top with a glowing "post Sandy" tribute that elevated the "Commander-in Chief" to Mother Teresa status.  People like me are completely politically irrelevant, and I will seldom again comment on or concern myself with the aforementioned coalition which has surrendered our culture, our heritage and our traditions without a shot being fired!

Which includes the United Nations Efforts and the US Will sign into (sic sic sic), creating a World Wide "Standard" for firearms ownership, world wide registration, no doubt leading resulting (sic) in confiscation and ultimately world rule.

You will never again outvote these people.  It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away.  It will take zealots, not moderates, not reach-across-the-aisle RINOs to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.  Those who come after us will have to risk their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to bring back the Republic that this generation has timidly frittered away due to "white guilt" and political correctness.

Atlas has Shrugged!  John Galt has left the building !

Ok, I do have one comment, not about the wingnut email (which I leave to the tender mercies of comment thread) but about my pal's comment that
"...this is the kind of nut job we would have been up against if Obama hadn't won."
Sorry to say, Bill, that we are still going to be up against them, even if less so in the political arena, going forward.

How long before the next RW terrorist attack on US soil?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
