"You can imagine for somebody making $25,000 or $30,000 or $35,000 a year, being told you’re now going to get free health care, particularly if you don’t have it, getting free health care worth, what, $10,000 per family, in perpetuity, I mean, this is huge."
If you look at the graph, you see that that "somebody" is MORE than 1 out of 3 everybodies. And in reality, it's more than that because the graph illustrates HOUSEHOLD income, not individual incomes.
So what kind of outfit are we running here? What's a country for? More than one third of the population is running on fumes but they are somehow uppity for wanting something basic like healthcare. Half of the country makes $50k or less, 80% make $100k or less. So who is getting something? Looks like 4/5's of the country is getting something. The upper quintile looks like it doesn't need much of anything, they've got it all.
“With regards to the young people, for instance, a forgiveness of college loan interest, was a big gift…Free contraceptives were very big with young college-aged women. And then, finally, Obamacare also made a difference for them, because as you know, anybody now 26 years of age and younger was now going to be part of their parents’ plan, and that was a big gift to young people."
Forgiveness of loan interest? No. This just removes the vig from GOVERNMENT money that people like you use to exploit for a large profit center. Nothing but loan sharks, but worse, you use OPM, ours, to grift students.
Free contraception? How is it free? It's COVERED, not free. I don't see any rumblings about penis pumps and viagra or cialis, of course that is covered because.......manly rugged stuff grrrr strike a pose.
And about those 26 and unders on their parents' policies. Kicking children off insurance when they reach the age of majority is a long standing and customary pile of BS that is totally arbitrary and capricious. Insurance policies are unilateral contracts of extortion. I don't want to hear it.
