I'm trying to truly understand the right wing bubble, and so I do a bit of lurking over at RedState and Free Republic. Daily, it is a trip through the looking glass...reality is really warped over there. So, it was more than a bit refreshing to read as they complained about real world customer service and not getting the product they paid for or getting the product too late to be useful. The products were Mitt Romney election materials, such as yard signs and bumper stickers. Romney/Ryan, Inc. can't seem to even run a decent mail order business.
Glock the Vote (lovely moniker) started things off:
A caller into Hannity today said he ordered a bunch of things off of Mitt Romney.com before the election and did not get everything he ordered and then only got a bumper sticker the week before the election.
Funny thing is that this happened to me too. I ordered 4 bumper stickers and 2 yard signs.
The yard signs were not cheap, I think $15.00 each. My local area had nothing at all being in NYC area.
The bumper stickers came after about 1.5 months but I never got the yard signs.
This supporter's experience was not an isolated incident:
What if they never intended to send them out?
The more I see of how poorly run the internals of this campaign was I almost think it was on purpose.
Further evidence that Romney had idiots working for him... Campaign materials not delivered (materials that people PAID FOR), polling software that never worked right, disorganized campaign offices...
Romneys’ stuff was expensive and it came horrifically late or not at all and I am seeing I am not the only one w that.
How could someone running for 6 years be so incompetent? I am trying to understand this.
And my personal favorite:
My yard sign shipped the day after the election. The email confirmation was like an extra punch in the gut.
I sent a reply for them to keep it since it was no longer needed or wanted but they must have ignored that message too.
I ordered the sign 6 weeks earlier.
Under the leadership of the businessman who believed he could save us all, the campaign couldn't even perform on the level of someone doing business on Etsy or Ebay. I know what I need to do if I want to get five bucks for a book. Romney et al couldn't even master that.
I'll leave you with this:
You know what - if he ran his office like he did the internals of the campaign - his presidency would have been a c moplete disaster as well.
You know, I agree with this freeper. I guess there is a place we can come to a mutual understanding.
