Yesterday, in an interview with TVNewser, Roger Ailes said the following: "We don’t — I know no one believes it — we have no agenda. If [Obama] runs into a burning building tomorrow and saves four kids, he’s gonna be the biggest goddamn hero Fox News ever saw."
I can see it now...
"President Obama is being praised today, as he ran out of a burning building carrying four toddlers. But some people are asking questions. Was Obama's recklessness characteristic of a cavalier, liberal attitude towards danger? Isn't that attitude indicative of a mindset which might not be able to comprehend dangers like say, the fiscal cliff? We have Dr. Keith Ablow on to discuss."
"Some people are now saying that if the toddlers had a better ethos of self-reliance, they wouldn't have had to rely on the President, and that in saving the toddlers in the public eye he was encouraging a culture of dependency. We have John Stossel on to discuss."
"Everybody's talking about this one little thing the president did, the mainstream media is fawning over him, and look, it's swell he got those kids out...but look, nobody ever talked about all the good things Bush did in Africa. Isn't this just another example of mainstream media liberal bias? Let's get Governor Palin's take."
