Skip to main content  posted a video on Youtube of Glenn Beck reading some prepared comments on his radio show earlier this week. Forgive me if this has already been diaried but his comments are dangerous and he needs to be shunned. Watch the video if you can stand it. I transcribed it for those of you who can't.. Apparently we have made the worst choice in the history of our planet

Here Mr Beck are 5 choices that were a bit worse!

1. Invading Iraq.

2. Not signing the Kyoto treatise.

3. Enhanced interrogation techniques.

4. Warrant-less , wireless domestic spying.

5. Allowing the deregulation (still) of the banking industry that led to a worldwide financial meltdown.

Those are all things I would rank worse then electing President Obama - but those things happened under Bush so they don't matter in your paradigm.

Glenn Beck: You've been over this a billion times. You know - they have lied to you. You know they lie to you today. But we have to figure out a way to not preach to the choir. We have to figure out a way to tell the American people the truth and get it to anybody whose - WHOSE possibly WILLING to wake up. Cause this does matter to your security - to the security of your children. To your children's future freedom.

And by the way - while I'm at it - speaking of the non-choir. Let me just say - Thank you non-choir. (pause)

You've just given our permission to Barack Obama and his evil nasty crew of liars to lie to our faces for the next four years. To put our country - our freedoms - all of our hard earned money - our business - our future - Israel - freedom - all at stake. So we could be more comfortable with lies and deceit and deception - coming every day like a warm blanket to tuck us in. Congratulations to the 62 million Americans who made the worst choice in the history of our planet.

Your welcome. Your tears are delicious.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
