Well, that is the spin coming off Bob Woodward's revelation that Fox News sent a flunky to Afghan to talk to Petreaus about being the front man in Rupert's Electrical Band. I don't give a shit how funny you thought the Republican primaries were, imagine them with Ailes running the as close to official as you can come and not be Stephen Colbert Fox News entrant.

after the rusty iron rococo cartouche

I mean ailes would have had to quit, so there is that. How pissed off would every GOP grunt be that their network home was trying to do the GOP what ESPN did for geographical rivalries in college football? How would Fox have covered every other candidate? How much would actually, literally owning the White House be worth to Rupert.

Christ, what if he won? Can you imagine a White House communications staff run by Rupert Murdoch? Seriously this is a fuck you to Aaron Sorkin, I can't watch the West Wing Marathon now without imagining it all in the hands of Fox and Friends?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

When people don't recognize your generousity for what it is, and take advantage of you. When they don't admit, you don't owe them anything, They are the worst pieces of shit on earth

But not in the way you think....

I prefer "Fleur d'Kos".  And as I've pointed out before, it is not perpendicular to lines above or below it.

Petraeus was his picture perfect guy.  The big military man, the hero, the soldier.

No one must have been more surprised than Roger Ailes.  His candidate turned out to have feet of clay.  So much for that.

Now it's back to square one.  Roger will have to dig up some other Fox News worthy candidate to run in 2016.

Roger must be just as disappointed as Mitt & Ann Romney are tonight.  Somehow, I don't think he liked them anyway.

The moniker is well chosen, since the fox is only slightly less lethal than the wolf and targets smaller prey.
Does the FOX audience know it is being exploited? I'm not sure how much influence radio with pictures has. Comforting background noise is what they offer, I suspect. With the sound turned down, it doesn't register at all. On the other hand, for some people it may just serve the function of an animated clock. You know, like a giant Mickey Mouse watch.

It's my guess that one reason iPhones are so popular is because they work as time pieces and worry beads all at once. Pacifiers for restless fingers. Idle hands may be the devil's workshop, but that may be because they are meant to move.

Let's see the MSM dig into the fact that Murdoch's US citizenship is a sham, gained by fraud and bribery of top GOP officials.

Prosecute and deport him back to Australia.
