KMOX radio, the once proud CBS flagship station in St. Louis, is continuing its descent to mediocrity and worse. For years, Rush Limbaugh has bloviated on KMOX from 11am-2pm and has been a perennial ratings winner for "the mighty 'Mox. But it appears his toxic blather is losing its grip on the market. The St. Louis Post Dispatch reports that in the latest ratings, Rush is coming in second to conservative FM talk station KFTK, home of Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, and Rush's competition, Dana Loesch.
While it's encouraging to see that Limbaugh's finally, finallyknocked out of first place in his time slot, it's disheartening to find that he was dethroned by the self-described founder of the local Tea Party.
