The switch by former Rock Star R Governor Charlie Christ to the D’s shows a new way. 17 Rs to D, makes Speaker Pelosi.  In switching, Crist said a lot, on Hardball, 'about lacking R tolerance and compassion', to Chris Matthews.  Which Rs are near the line?

To show seventeen R Congress people the better way, can it be said? It is now or never. ‘There is no space for moderation in the current R group. Can the full charm and advantage of the party and its friends be deployed, in this straight forward  task. Can reachable R's be invited  to the White House and courted to join the Ds. Is this a reason why the Prez is still on the road?

If, NY (D) Governor, Andrew Cuomo and former (D) Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith, the first African American, to so highly serve, can swallow hard and make a fusion  R majority in the NY Senate, 'for the sake of the State'. Then 17 brave pragmatic good government R’s can do the same, to make Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House and get something done. Today's Rs seem only to use them, to obstruct.

Are there at least 17  Rs, who know that the some have gone too far. Who have been in the cloak rooms and heard the sad and harsh, baseless and absent talk. Who are? Tired of being bossed by distant talk radio points, being repeated like a gospel.
Who are over, ‘impure thoughts’ Grover. Who are in danger of a tea primary.
Professional public servants, who are ready to say heck no. I will not go there.
I was elected to serve my constituents not distant  consultants, having cable news panic attacks.  17 Congress people, who want to be Senators and Governors and Mayors. Just like Charlie Crist.
Should D's promise no primary and  support. And turnout the team to let them know, they are welcome and wanted. Say, we will hear and reasonably address your concerns. The needs of your district will be given top priority..

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
