The Daily Bucket is a place where we can post and exchange our observations about the natural happenings in our neighborhoods. Birds, bugs, blossoms and more - each notation is a record that we can refer to in the future as we try to understand the natural patterns that are unwinding around us.
First my apologies for being so far behind in my bucket writing duties. I've intended to write one for awhile now but the word processing part of my brain seems to have some kind of malfunction and I'm barely able to put two sentences together these days. But fearing Bwren's wrath I thought I'd better do something soon. I've been seeing a lot of hawks lately and between myself and Mrs. burntout we've managed to get some pretty nice pics of some of them. So if it's ok, I'm gonna cheat a bit and just put a few of my favorites in with the hopes that this will suffice until I can figure out how to fix the broken word thingy in my head. There are a few that have been seen by some of you but for the most part they are new.
49 and misting rain here in mid Mo. this morning with more and heavier rain predicted for later today. Which is good , we can use it. Your turn, tell us what's happening in your neighborhood today. Got hawks?
I have a class today but will be back around two this afternoon, see ya's then.
