I am really amped by all of the discussion online about what happened at Sandy Hook and what could possibly be done about it. There is no ONE solution, but we can't let that stop us from doing something. We cannot be paralyzed. If the President appointed a special task force to study the issue over 6 months and come up with concrete recommendations, spanning gun policy, mental health funding and policy, that would be a solid start. Like the nation did after 9/11 -- establish a commission, publish a report, and get going on action. There's a lot of misinformation out there about gun violence -- a task force and report would cut through the bull and make it clear what contributes to mass shootings and what can reduce them.
You with me? How can we make this happen?
