Team RubiPam report:
Tuesday, Team RubiPam extended our lockout, because we are so sick of Stone Guard, we never want to see those damned dogs again, and started with the troll boss Gara'jal. This turned out to be a bit more challenging than we expected because 3 of us were not there when we did this fight a couple of weeks ago, and Pamena was healing rather than dps'ing, so there were a few...missteps, shall we say? I think we shall. Nonetheless, we finally got him, and had about 1/2 an hour left for some pulls on the Spirit Kings. After a kind of reverse Leeroy Jenkins start, with the entire raid cloaked by Jazzi, sneaking to the center, only to look back and see Thanael stuck back at the start (lag was his story, and he is sticking to it), we did a few pulls. The first one was very, very short - apparently, all that smoky bombed out floor stuff and what he does to follow it up will actually KILL YOU. Who knew?! Anyway, we did pretty well, got the 4th guy down to below 25% I think on one pull, so we will go in again tonight and see how we do.
Saturday night, we had our usual successful Sha run, over 30 guildies in on the fun. Then Snuffy led a very fun raid on Ulduar - we only had one guild achievement left to get in Northrend, Alone in the Dark, and while the rest of Ulduar was a giggle, that fight provided some challenges, mainly because we had fewer than 20 people and the mind control just defeated us. We called for reinforcements, and with 22 people (I think, might have been 23), we got it! Multi achieves for everyone and loads of fun. Thanks Snuff for running it.
I had scheduled an ICC 25 for after the Sha this week, but there were not many signups, and this may be a bad weekend to try it - also, I may not be around myself Saturday night, so if I'm not on by 8:30, I hope someone else will step up and organize the Sha, and maybe something to follow if people want.
We still have folks interested in a 3rd 10 man group which would be great - please read Mama's post at the raid forum about "so you want to raid" and talk to her before you organize. I'll help in any way I can short of actual participation.
