It really is the little things that can mean so much. My brother is a volunteer firefighter in Syracuse, NY, and as such will be attending a funeral service in Rochester this week for his two fallen comrades who were ambushed, shot, and killed in Webster. When he called to reserve a hotel room for that night, he was told by the clerk that his room was already paid-for - that hotels in the area were getting calls from random strangers, some as far away as Alaska, donating rooms to firefighters coming in from other parts of the state for the service. Every once in awhile the kindness of strangers will surprise you. Well played - I salute you all.
