In a powerful way- this has helped me A LOT- in regards to my input- not only with Kos- but even my scathing articles -
I must attack policies - not people. - many of my articles have been biting political satire- venomous- esp towards Rush L.- perhaps sadly, those have been the most popular among readers on other sites.
In regards to my accusations towards others' possible hypocrisy- again, sadly- it comes from a cynicism borne of exp w others-- ugh, bad experiences- I delve into motives perhaps mistakenly.. and too deeply. but..
WITHOUT vested interest- I support this cause fully, probably a hell of a lot more than anyone knows- I always have, always will. Why? because it is the right thing to do. nothing more, nothing less-
Many many people, either knowingly or unknowingly- support polices because they have a personal interest- whether it be estate tax, DOMA, social sec, or medicaid. Because of my own circumstance- for better or worse, i have no vested interest at this point in my life- and when I say no vested interest, I mean, literally, no vested interest other than moral compass (which makes my comment all the worse).
And still- through this disconnect I have been able to see through a clearer lens. Again, sadly, I have abused that right by being a no-holes-barred spewer of whatever came to mind at the moment, without regard to others, and without regards to others' possible perception of me- whether correct or mistaken.
I am pleased with all interactions, even those negative- and surely hope that this response should indicate that your thoughts/feelings ARE important to me. I apologize for the comment, and am regretful that many probably, deservedly, and yet mistakenly feel that it defines me or my views. I would not have been comfortable without ponying up.
God bless all
