Our local newspaper (Fargo Forum) once again blamed the lack of progress on issues in the 112th Congress on "both sides": the extremists in the House and the "liberal fringe in the Senate" (I don't have a link to the editorial, it was several days ago).
But I thought to myself, "I've had enough of this". I'm sick of the "both sides do it".
Today, the newspaper printed my response:
I do not agree with The Forum’s Jan. 2 editorial regarding the reason why the 112th U.S. Congress was so unproductive.
As I see it, the problem lies with the extreme Republicans in the House, and the unprecedented number of filibusters by the Republicans in the Senate. I lay the problem at the feet of the Republicans, who seem to be for nothing, and against everything (with the exception of protecting the richest Americans).

Their editorial did not even mention the fillibusters by the Republicans. How can you miss that ?
I'm so sick of "both sides do it".
