Now we even have Republicans acknowledging that Republicans basically cheated themselves into a House Majority. On Meet The Press, Scarborough used the fact that Republicans didn't get a majority of House votes to highlight the fact that the Republican Party is shrinking. Here's the video(Scarbourough's statement starts at approx. 2:23):

Sadly, Axelrod fumbles the ball handed to him by Scarbourough by sticking to talking points instead of really driving the point home that Republicans cheated themselves into a House Majority.
We need to do better than Axelrod and continually drive the point home that Republicans have an illegitimate House Majority.
Every time they are able to obstruct, it is because:
Republicans cheated themselves into a House Majority
Every time they try and screw Seniors, they can only do it because:
Republicans cheated themselves into a House Majority
Every time they try and screw over the middle class and poor, they can only do it because:
Republicans cheated themselves into a House Majority
Every time Republicans manage to obstruct progress on the major challenges of our time, like Climate Change, it is because:
Republicans cheated themselves into a House Majority
The Republican Party continues to do its best to exploit the weaknesses inherent to our Democratic system and undermine the proper functioning of our Democracy. Every American who believes in the basic concept of fairness, who believes in a properly functioning democratic system, should be calling the Republican party out for this and we need to do our best to help inform the general public about this by speaking to our neighbors, friends, and acquaintances about it.
Democracies cannot function when a party manages to remove itself from accountability and that is exactly what the Republican Party is trying to do. They need to be called out for it and voted out for it until they change their stance and quit trying to undermine our Democracy.
It is completely asinine that we have to have this battle for basic Democratic rights at the beginning of the 21st Century. Any party that forces this kind of undemocratic, dishonest, and disgusting abuse of power down our throats should not be allowed anywhere near the halls of power until they change their ways.
We, the people, need to shun them and thus make them understand that our love for Democracy outweighs their love of power.
