Not that I have anything against devil worshippers. But Pastor Mark does. Yes, somewhere deep in the heart of Oklahoma Alabama Northern Ireland lives Pastor Mark. And Pastor Mark believes crazy things. Before breakfast and after breakfast. Probably when he's asleep too.
"Having spoken to a number of homosexual activists why is it that these souls that hate God so much that they're willing to disobey his commandments, why do they want to get married in church?"
Pastor Mark believes homosexuals deserve God's love too, just like other scum.
Whether you're a homosexual, thief, murderer, liar, devil worshipper, God loves you.
Pastor Mark believes in studies, scientific or not.
"Studies prove homosexual marriages just don't work."
But what if a devil worshipper produced the study? Pastor Mark does not say. Pastor Mark also believes in the fundamental right of the majority to shit on a minority.
"This is one of the things that boggles my mind - that there is so much fuss over the desires or the wants of 1.5 or 2 per cent of the population."
Pastor Mark believes in proof, although one might question whether it is mathematical proof or the kind that comes in bottles made by Benedictine monks.
"There's so much info out there that proves homosexual relationships are wrong."
Pastor Mark has a church.
And a website. This is the picture that appears on the front page of his church's website.
And no, I'm not making this up. And no, I don't have a clue.
Pastor Mark doesn't just have problems with devil worshippers and gays. He dislikes Islam...
Muslims believe that the best way to paradise is by die in Jihad - a religious war in which the supplicant takes as many people with as possible to eternity. Thinking that the shed blod of their victims will atone for his sins.
and Mormonism
Mormonism teaches that Christ and the devil are brothers
Does Mitt have an opinion on this? (Oh, wait, no one cares what Mitt thinks anymore. Nevermind.)
The problem for those who think Pastor Mark is a loon is that Pastor Mark is not an isolated loon. Pastor Mark's "spiritual" (and I use the scare quotes, well, scarily) associates are to be found on both sides of The Pond in significant (but fortunately diminishing) numbers.
Someday Pastor Mark and those holding similar beliefs will be relegated to thpse odd corners of the Internet reserved for those who believe the Moon landings were faked and that reducing taxes raises revenues. Someday views like his won't make the news.
Someday.
