The essential non-verbal message from Marco Rubio's speech last night is that he was very nervous. From The Band's song "Stage Fright":
Your brow is sweatin' and your mouth gets dry
The difference, of course, between the man in The Band's song and Rubio is the unidentified man overcomes his stage fright and "... wants to start all over again." I very much doubt Rubio would want to do that rebuttal - or any future rebuttal - to an Obama State of the Union address again.
Anyone with more than two neurons or over the age of eight could see Rubio was nervous. How many people would want a President (or Senator or lawyer or etc.) who is nervous. Imagine voting for Barney Fife for President. My guess is they would prefer a socialist Kenyan who is self assured and calm.
