I have been silent so far on the firestorm started by Progress Kentucky with their remarks about Elaine Chao, former "anti"-Labor Secretary and wife of the Senator for Communist China Mitch McConnell. While I do not condone racism of any kind and normally do not believe that spouses of candidates should be included in some of the nastiness of campaigns I do believe in retrospect that a little bit of perspective about this so-called "racist" tweet would go a long way.
First, as far as attacking Elaine Chao, the spouse of a candidate goes I see it like this. Elaine Chao was the Secretary of Labor during the disastrous administration of George W. Bush. In a position designed to advance the causes of American workers Elaine Chao waged constant war upon them as a Corporate lapdog. That very much makes her part of the discussion:
Chao has recently been spending much of her time speaking before conservative groups on behalf of Bush's decidedly worker-unfriendly proposals for revamping the Social Security system. And she has warned unions not to use their pension funds to oppose Bush's proposal or to hire or fire service providers mainly on the basis of their position on the proposal.
Unfortunately there's more. Much more. Chao opposes any increase in the pitifully inadequate federal minimum wage of $5.15 an hour. She opposes affirmative action. She argued that the 170,000 members of the Homeland Security Department should be denied union rights "so we can better protect Americans."
She supported canceling the Labor Department regulations -- 10 years in the making -- that were designed to protect workers from the repetitive motion injuries that hurt and cripple more than two million of them annually and withdrew more than 20 other proposed safety regulations. She slashed the budget for enforcement of the remaining regulations and virtually all other department functions aimed at helping workers.
Chao meanwhile is attempting to impose financial disclosure regulations on unions that would require them to spend thousands of hours and millions of dollars to track and report their expenditures in great, unprecedented and clearly unnecessary detail. Those are the regulations first suggested in 1992 by former Republican leader Newt Gingrich as a way to "weaken our opponents and encourage our allies."

Then there is the matter of Elaine Chao being attacked because of her "race". I do not believe this PAC was attacking Chao because she is of Chinese descent. There is a reason why we call Senator McConnell the Senator for Communist China around here. That is because Elaine Chao's father has ties to the Communist leadership of China and Mitch McConnell works for them, not the people of Kentucky. Anyone with a computer can see this for themselves by merely doing an internet search on "James Chao". I believe as Progress Kentucky does, that James Chao has enriched Mitch McConnell to use his position in the United States Senate to work for James Chao and the Communist Chinese to make slaves of oppressed Chinese workers and send high-paying jobs from America to China.
And as far as being "racist", I do not believe this tweet is racist:
"This woman has the ear of @McConnellPress -- she's his #wife. May explain why your job moved to #China!"

It merely attempted to point out that Mitch McConnell works for James Chao and the communist leaders of China, not the voters of Kentucky. We have been saying that around here for a long time and I refuse to apologize for trying to tell the truth about Mitch McConnell and who he truly serves. Somebody needs to.
And before anyone feels too sorry for poor Elaine Chao being attacked because her husband works for her father and the Communist Chinese and wants to call those of us who would point that out "racists" consider this. As Secretary of Labor, a position designed to further the causes of American labor Elaine Chao showed herself as the true racist against those very American workers by calling us dirty, angry and stupid:

How Safe Is Your Job?
You could lose your job to a foreign worker -- not because he's cheaper but because he has better workplace skills and discipline. That's the message Labor Secretary Elaine Chao hears from U.S. executives who are worried about America's competitive future. While losses are low thus far -- one study estimates that only 280,000 jobs in the service industry out of 115 million are outsourced each year -- that could change. Beyond the cheaper cost of labor, U.S. employers say that many workers abroad simply have a better attitude toward work. "American employees must be punctual, dress appropriately and have good personal hygiene," says Chao. "They need anger-management and conflict-resolution skills, and they have to be able to accept direction. Too many young people bristle when a supervisor asks them to do something."
As for our job future, Chao notes that most of the fastest-growing jobs today are in industries requiring advanced knowledge and skills and are "very high or high wage." But critics say we're not doing enough for those without a higher education. "Today, only 30% of the workforce has four years of college," says Jared Bernstein of the Economic Policy Institute. "Instead of factory slots, there are slots for security guards and food-prep workers."

It sounds like to me she is the racist and used her position to discriminate against American workers for one simple reason. In America unlike the Communist Chinese regime her and her husband serve we are not slaves. We have rights and are not forced to work for nothing. We do not force our children to work in dangerous conditions for the betterment of a Communist government that gives its citizens no rights whatsoever.
So while this firestorm has come and gone and these remarks have been apologized for what I wonder is this. When are Mitch McConnell and Elaine Chao going to apologize for waging war on the American worker at the behest of the Communists in China?
