David Sirotan writes in Salon what is one of the best synopsis of the falsehoods and misdirections used by those on the right in the latest budget/sequester/government shutdown (supposed) debate. He includes links to reasoned analysis demonstrating the ways in which each of those arguments are false or misleading.
The thing that stood out though was not which bogus right wing talking point was more incredulous then the other. What stood out was the admission, and change in past position, of the two biggest obstacles to progress in the House -Boehner and Ryan- that there is no immediate budget crises.
This is the first significant crack in the armor of the right wing... Could it be the beginning of the end of the current stalemate?
